Re: Vintage film cameras
I'd give it a try though - but I'd need a new phone first.
I could digitise all my negatives dating back years quite quickly. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Wooo, got my Perkeo back! Thanks again Johnny. I see what you mean about the front panel, it "rocks" back and forward slightly. I am sure it will be fine. What did you want to do with the film? Wait for me to pull my finger out and dev it C41 or cross process it as black and white?

Re: Vintage film cameras
Wait until you have the right stuff, I'm not sure if anything will come out so no rush. I forgot to test the flash sync, looked fine so I presume it works. People keep saying how compact etc. the Perkeo is but it's still a fairly solid lump! Nice touches as ever with Voigtlander though, like the foot that unfolds from the bottom edge of the lens door for setting it down, but is folded up by the action of folding the camera up, and the swing-out film spools. I think if you set the shutter and lens, lock it out, then press the shutter button you'll be fine, the shutter linkage presses straight down on the shutter lever itself.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Well if you want one 322513232864, I suspect that the double exposure lock is active which is stopping it from firing. Great little camera and it fits right in your pocket! I have a thing for Voigtlander and Yashica for some reason. Had a Kodak Holiday Flash 127 arrive today.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Good call, have put a fiver on it to start with. In the pics, the shutter is cokked and set to about 1/10 or 1/25, also double exposure is set to be ready to fire (arrow pointing forward), but as I found even a loose screw can stop things.
