New sidi vortice boots arrived look like a stormtrooper in them absolutely no flex side to side which is impressive only downside is they take about 15 minutes to put on.

When someone hears your pain of being in hospital with hardly any clean clothes and orders you some cheap ones (but perfectly suitable ones) to wear whilst you're in hospital, so as to be able to avoid the dreaded and embarassing "hospital pyjamas gown" thing that leaves your backside hanging out on display to everyone

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I've just received the results from my MRI after my high PSA reading. No abnormalities other than an enlarged prostate (he asked me if I rode a bicycle?). Had a blood test and have to have another in a month to see if PSA is stable or climbing and then possibly a biopsy.
To keep yin-yang in balance I received a very badly addressed invoice for my late father's care home stay, which was supposed to have been NHS funded, for £3000. I think the news is definitely in the smile category though. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Watching a tree in my neighbours garden "rain" leaves. Quite the comical sight really. Just over the fence beside a shed in my neighbours garden is a self-seeded Ash tree - grows at a phenomenal rate as is really a weed as it's in totally the wrong place and will undermine the shed... It was a hard frost here last night and as the sun got on to this tree and warmed things up a bit the leaves started falling like rain. The shed roof is now covered in a carpet of leaves and there are hardly any left on the tree which is so different to yesterday. Such a quick change.
