Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm guessing that you didn't win the Perkeo then Johnny? I won the folder you posted up.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Took a few pics with the ED today but I'm not sure about this one at all. It's a point and shoot but there's absolutely no indication of what aperture or shutter speed it's choosing... and the shutter speed goes to 4 seconds apparently so although it will shoot in bad light, it could be a long exposure. The Trip's red flag has its advantages.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Point and shoot and hope for the best? My Pentax MVs at like that, you set the aperture but you have to see if it's red Anne or green. Pretty basic, you never know what shutter speed it has selected.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I don't get the chance to set aperture or shutter speed. Will wait to see what the lens produces.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Sorry, I meant that I don't get much info about what it's doing. Dug out my Yashica 72e and the meter has died. Good job it's not an auto camera. I guess you could always sell the ED, they seem to sell well.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Forgot about the Perkeo. There's a Mamiya Six down the road from me, quite a few bids already but wondering about going to check it out before bidding. It's an older model. Not many for sale outside of Japan/US.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm hoping the bargains will keep flowing but I think people are paying more attention to what they have before selling. Doubt I could pick up some of my cameras as cheap as I have done now.
