Good man.
Well I've got my 3 week appointment on Friday with the physio. Hopefully he says I can get out again. Going insane now.

It would drive me mad not being able to run. My own laziness is one thing but enforced inactivity is a different matter. Hope you get the go ahead to run again!

Out again this morning with my mate Craig for just under 6 miles to Pont Llogel and back. Lovely run in ideal temperatures.

Mabel is now stacked out on her bed, but no such luxury for me as I need I head into town!

Physio says I can run again. Albeit not very far, not very fast with a shortened stride. But it's better than nothing. I have to build up the damaged muscle not do more harm. He was happy with my exercise efforts. He's given me harder ones to do now too. No better time to start, so I jogged the mile back home from his surgery.

Good man, glad he's given you the go ahead.

I was going to run this morning but never made it out. I have a Powys Canicross run with 4 other members and hounds on Sunday though so that should be good fun. somewhere between four and eight miles, depending on how folk feel.

Got out this morning!

Yay.

Only 3.6 miles as physio instructed short and slow.
It was amazing to get some air and head space. I really missed it. Even got a top up double dose of nettles.

Brilliant news! It makes such a difference to get out there doesn't it? Just be sure not to overdo it. Nettles, that'll help to keep the rheumatism away.

I was out this morning too, with four members of Powys Canix for a lovely, frosty 6 miler at a gentle pace, followed by tea and flapjack with some of them. Very enjoyable morning run, although pretty chilly at 7.30am!

Our Canix social run this morning. The run selfie was up to my usual alarming standard!

Made it out for a late afternoon run. Just a 3.5 mile one as I started too late to do anything longer. My Garmin threw a wobble and gave me a false route at the start. Corrected it but I'm sure the time is now not accurate and it's made me look about 1.5 minutes faster. Lost my start point in the edit too.
Late afternoon run

Beautiful evening though, the colours out there now are absolutely stunning.

I need to clock a few miles this week as I'm doing the Telford T50/50 relay this Sunday with Shropshire Canicross. I'm running my section with another canicrosser who is a little faster (and considerably younger) than me. Our section from Little Wenlock to Wellington involves running up and back down the Wrekin and over the Ercall. I may die!

Doing this tomorrow Telford T50/50 Challenge Canicross relay. Running with a co-runner and our dogs. Our section is 12km and involves an advent and descent of the Wrekin. It may be wet so I will be aiming to get up and down the trails there without falling on my @r5e! Looks like it should be good fun.
