Re: Vintage film cameras
Which ones were they then? Had read about the T3 but they were out of my price range.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Two rolls of Ektar in the Perkeo and a roll of 36 through the 500G. The first two shots on the Perkeo will be out of focus as I was shooting at infinity and had it set about 6-10 feet.

Re: Vintage film cameras
You back home yet Kenzie? Have you got a Kiev? Started looking at Contaxes the other day, Kievs are quite a bit cheaper, and easier to come by, and odds are they're more likely to work!

Re: Vintage film cameras
No, back tomorrow. Went to Molly's Den and there was a Rocky Camera stand. He had a Contax slr but it was £50. One and a half rolls through the Vitomatic today. Don't have any Kievs.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I see a lot of ads for small shops around that neck of the woods, looks like he's either trying to branch out or clear some stock through them

Re: Vintage film cameras
I picked up one camera to look at and the aperture was broken and the shutter would click but not move. Only £8 but I left it there.

Re: Vintage film cameras
There were some EOS film cameras as well but were £30 up. Think I need to expand my budget for select higher end cameras.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Haha, know what you mean. I have some cheap ones but it's not much consolation if they're a pain to use or the pictures are crap.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I found the X700 great to use as well as the 500G. That reminds me, I need to sort out getting my films sent off. Did you want me to send your roll as well or are you in no hurry?
