Speedplay is too busy playing with older women, lamborghinis and traveling abroad... not jealous or anything though.

I think Mike brought himself an MR2 if I remember right from what Pete 'n Lissa said when I last saw them.

I don't mean physically meeting up, I mean they disappear from the forum. To me it doesn't matter what bike they have or even if they still have a bike, they are still a laugh to chat to on here.

Yep, I know what you're saying, but perhaps they want to ensure that they're not tempted to buy another bike, by disappearing or not talking about bikes.

If you've had to give up biking say like Pete & Lisa then avoiding anything to do with bikes is the best thing, its very hard to give up something you REALLY enjoy.

Other folk like Kai are pretty busy with new babies, jobs and other work/life pressures, mean that they don't even have to time to socialise on here.

We all work too hard for our own good I think, I'd prefer a better work-life balance like my French, German or Dutch friends have, but we seemed to have adopted the USA work ethic

Hello!
I still lurk.
Doing 70 hour weeks and a studying for a degree on top is taking its toll...

Still biking though, love my Versys. Heated grips and hand guards FTW.

I haven't forgotten about you guys, I still try and get a quick read in on what's happening here and there, but yeah time is precious right now.

I hear you on the life-work balance thing, I think about that all the time. At the mo I just have a longer term goal that the short term is going to see me right for...right now I am earning good money which will hopefully mean I will be turning the work versus life ratio down several notches soon enough and getting that life in the Fijian sun before I am old and wrinkled
