Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Yay, well done Reeder Take care!!
I went out in the pouring rain the other day, hadnt ridden for ages and just HAD to get out. It was slow, but fun, rode through a couple of small lakes on the road - kept my speed constant, the bike upright, hoped the tyres did their stuff and said a few little prayers to the God of bikes who very kindy saw fit to get me through safe. Thankyou!! Itching to get my first weekend away in for 2012, im not waiting til April/May, might see if I can talk Jeff into getting his wallet out and see if we can get one in in January, Ive run out of a certain chutney I love that can only be bought from Cheddar Gorge.... Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I'm thinking about getting the Daytona out before the sun comes out properly too.
Have decided that in 2012, if I don't do at least 3000 miles between the bikes, I'll get rid of them. Looking at the mileage from this year, I did about 1500 between them and that's not enough to warrant keeping them. |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Sounds like we need more ride outs! Feel free to line them up, no matter how insignificant, if you want company clocking some miles. I'll be able to ride weekends after mid-january...
I've managed almost 6K miles since I bought the KTM in April, and I haven't even done any big rides that I want to yet (thanks to the ever renewing contract). I just used it for almost everything I could. Panniers help justify a trip to the shops, the long way round, when we need some bread edit: I must get around to planning a ride up north and back, I want to do something along the lines of hitting the Yorkshire Dales followed by Cumbria, Isle of Skye, Highlands, across to Perth, Edinburgh down the east coast...etc. You get the idea. The when is the issue though, needs to fit around work or when there is a lack of it...

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Is that with your slicks on? Very gutsy! Were your feet out like stabilisers

With my almost literal slicks on... Remind me to get them change. They're 3 points or an accident waiting to happen!
