Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat
Thanks to Lou & Ol for popping my AR cherry
I had a fantastic time and felt very welcomed - enjoyed every minute - perhaps not so much while my boots & underpants were soaked through, but storm clouds aside it was the most fun I've had on x2 wheels. Quote:

p.s. My mate Adi didn't stop asking when the next meet will be so I think you'll definitely be seeing him again in the future too. Thanks again to all who made the weekend such an enjoyable event. |

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat
Thanks to the organisers, markers, and drunks for all the entertainment!
This AR was a bit rough for me (no fault of anyone else but me and sods law) so apologies if I didnt seem as socialable as I should have been. I let the missus pack my clothes (or lack of...) so I spent a lot of it wet/damp and cold, plus a load of things on my bike broke and now the list of parts to get is fairly damaging to the wallet Buuuut I still had a good time and the best thing about the AR as always, is seeing old and new faces again. |

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat
Things that made me chuckle at the AR...
- Hongman's oven gloves - AndyBrad's uber camp dancing whilst marking junctions - The HUUUGE crack of thunder & lightning just as I rolled past YorkieChris on junction marking duty, who duly sh@t a brick - Bibio's clearly drunk SatNav - DavePreston - BlueFlame's snoring (sounded like he was caught halfway between a fight and an orgasm) - The shameless use of another man's wife to go and fetch indigestion tablets (you know who you were!) I'm sure I'll think of plenty others... |

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat
Ah yes, gloves in oven at 75C to dry out!
I duly forgot about them as I went to the BBQ and then **** myself when I realised I'd left them in there. Cue fast walk to bunks to check, halfway there someone says to me "Can you small plastic burning" Cue sprint to bunk house to discover it was locked up, but some responsible person has turned the oven off. Thank you, whoeever it was!! |

Oh, just an honourable mention to Paul the 6th for his amazing glow in the dark clothing - kept me throughly amused for hours!
