Indeed. As I found out when I went to park up in a bike bay a short while ago without a card. I had to ask someone else to pay for me and then hang around waiting for a text confirmation from them that they had received a text confirming the payment. I got bored of waiting, spied a traffic warden and asked them to confirm the bike was registered as having paid. The warden did and I went on my way. 15 minutes later I got a call saying text had arrived for confirmation. I could possibly have been stood there waiting for 15 minutes for confirmation or could have wondered off wondering if I were going to find a ticket when I got back. How stoopid.

Someone complimented me on my parking today. They left a note on my bike saying "Parking fine", so that was nice.



Has anyone been following this anymore, what's the latest? I assume that it has now become permanent?

There is another demo on the 30th September. Anyone?
