It was a hard sell and obvious they weren't getting many takers because of publicity of the damage retrospective cavity wall insulation can cause. One of the sales blokes told my wife 'cavity insulation will become mandatory next year and you won't be able to sell you house without it' - I wrote to my local council ( who were controlling the contractors) and my MP about the blatant lies being told - we never had them call again at our house.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
we had no problems with ants till everyone got their free cavity wall insulation. after that its been a fekin nightmare every year. when they were doing the windows you could see the ants nests in the walls.
the whole of kirkcaldy is now riddled with fekin ants. |

the ants started the next again year as i'm sure they came with the insulation. |
