Just passed MOT (Excess rust and cobwebs is not apparently a fail), and got a pair of 021's fitted. Nice to feel non-squared off tyres again but have been having to scrub them in in the rain so far.

I'm not sure where i'm riding tomorrow. Original plan was to hit the Stelvio Pass but that may have to wait til the day after. Had a stern talking-to from a random swiss biker today about our cavalier attitude to solid white lines up the Grimsel pass. Wah wah wah. Time for bed, it's seriously warm in Italy!

just googled Stelvio Pass, looks EPIC. I'd call you a nasty word if the swear filter would let me :/

We may not bother doing the Stelvio pass at all now - seen enough hairpins to last me a lifetime and there are far more interesting roads to play on. Had a spot of bother at the Swiss border, my plod-magnet credentials are in full effect. Ouch.

Yep, on the 7. i had a wicked time and no one that we knew crashed. Felt much more together that at Rockingham and much quicker too, which was partly the bike but I think I jsut concentrated on getting lines and stuff right more than before. had a session with an instructor after lunch and he said after the first 3 laps he couldn't catch me
