Before I have another shot I will want to see eveidence that the symptoms are worse than the last varient. I had palpations and some chest pain following the last jab. I also know of two people that died suddenly and unexpectedly after having the jab. It didn't stop me having two doses of covid though. From what I have learnt basically the vaccine has not been thoroughly tested. However in Johns situation I would have a booster shot.

Out for a walk with Mabel and it looks like I made it down off the tops just in time. Currently sitting in a local café with a coffee and a slice of chocolate torte, looking through the window at the rain pouring down.

I was supposed to be leading a walking in the hills here this morning but I called it off because of the forecast. Glad I did now.

Always seems weird in such a small country as ours to have such weather variation - I've been out for a ride in the sunshine (partly cloudy) and I have laundry out on the line.
I can see the rain on the radar but it's the other side of the Pennines

I use that netweather service you recommended all the time now, it's incredibly useful.

It helped me avoid getting drenched recently as I checked it mid-ride while having a coffee, and it showed that the route I was planning to take home was threatened by heavy rain, but the alternative route was going to be dry.

I use this for the rain:

https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar

and this for cloud cover (see if it will be sunny).

If you at the latter one now (daylight hours 27th Sep), you'll get a good view of storm Agnes

Anyone seen The Woman in the Wall? Pretty good series if you're looking for something to watch.
