Got a very good deal on the PR4s... being sold off to make make way for the PR5s I guess. Also came with a voucher that I used to almost pay for the whole of the wheel balancer I got at the same time.

I have invested in some Motion Pro bead braking levers though. Not cheap but thoroughly recommended. Last tyre I did was on my old 250 and I remember not really knowing what I was getting in to, just being used to changing bicycle tyres. I used some long metal downhill MTB levers and ruined at least one tube trying to get them back on. That was a learning curve! I was expecting the tubless larger tyres on the SV to be harder work, but with better tools and a bit more preparation of what to expect (mainly knowing to be quite physical with tyre, knees squashing it etc) it's was much easier than I expected.

Santa is bringing me Road 5's for Christmas, so this feedback is excellent

I might try Conti road attack 3 next. I used them on my SV and they were excellent too. My only grumble about the pr4's is that sides wear badly, especially on the front. So the lovely neutral handling gradually detriates with the bike being reluctant to 'tip in'. All tyres change their characteristics as they wear but it's particularly noticeable on the VFR.

Glad to hear this!
I can get the Conti's for about half the price of pr4s.
No deals yet on the pr4s in the US.

Last winter someone was selling snow. Needed it collecting from their driveway by lunchtime.

Crumbs! You'd need a lot of bread to buy them. Obviously upper crust footwear.
