Sorry to hear you're not having a good time of things at the moment Kelly.
I'll just add the same as the two gents above really. Readers death has made all of us take stock. Getting back on the bike was difficult but, me being me, it was something I had to do. I can completely understand what you're saying though and think some time away from riding may be what's needed. You don't commute on it so there's no pressure to get back on asap. You ride for pleasure so don't force it.

Don't know if it helps KJ (hi by they way!), but I got a lot of confidence when I was riding, but doing a novice track day. No traffic coming the other way, no trees loads of run off areas and just got at your own pace. Sounds funny but z race track seemed a safer environment than the road. Learnt lots about the bike and me and no idiots to take me out in cars

Reeder wouldnt want you to bin riding just because of what happened to him.

If you want me to come out with you for a gentle pootle, give me a shout as I'm free most of the time these days.
