Re: Vintage film cameras
Looks like Johnny got a great price on the Durst Automatica. My pack of FP100C arrived early so the 220 is all loaded up.

Re: Vintage film cameras
BOOM you beat me to it! Fingers crossed it's as good as it looks. I was just looking at sold values, one recently for a tenner with a dead meter (was that yours?), others are a fair bit higher!

Re: Vintage film cameras
Yeah that was mine. Quite jealous now! The shutter on the Dial is acting up. If its wet with lighter fluid its fine, but as soon as it dries out it sticks.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Today's bargains, a bunch of Tamron adapters a fiver apiece
http://www.oxfam.org.uk/shop/art-and...nd-accessories also a K1000 for £40 in there, bit knocked about, Taiwan I think. And if you want a cheap P&S digital there a couple of Fuji F10s for a tenner each, my daughter has one and they are great. Massive battery and really short shutter delay. Also this on Gumtree in Cambs: https://www.gumtree.com/p/video-came...ons/1251616135 which are going for about £60-90 on ebay last time I looked (which was a while ago, but the GIII is very much in demand) |

Re: Vintage film cameras

Re: Vintage film cameras
Me too on the Canonet. A bargain at that price.
I'm not at work next week. Should I invest my commuting fares into cameras? If the weather stays like it has over the last couple of days, it won't be going on petrol for the SV. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm not sure about buying at the moment given the fact that Poundland have stopped the film supply. Having said that I'll probably buy anyway as I can never resist!

Re: Vintage film cameras
Will see if ebay or the local camera shop can tempt me with anything. Must make more of an effort to finish off some half used films too.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just seen another Durst listed for £100 or best offer. Looks like you got a steal Johnny. Managed to get hold of another 18 rolls of Agfa. Pretty stocked now. Thinking of upgrading my D3200 to a D5200. Hunting for a decent used one, have seen one on camera jungle for £278 with a shutter count of 1500 ish. I still hace quite a few loaded I need to shoot. Seen a joblot of folders and the title is basic. Think there is an Agfa isolette 3 in there.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Isolette 3 is an uncoupled RF, so like the Mess ikonta but one less window as the RF and VF are combined. Yep seen that Durst, it was on for £120 but no one bit, the actual sold prices are good though. It's a bit like the Certo, worth a few bob but auction is a poor choice for the seller as there will be few people looking for it in the small time window. Where did you get the Agfa from?
