pitting? looks like stone chips that are just starting to bubble under the paint where salt and water have go in to me. Fork lowers btw
is a haynes manual worth the cash?
and what yours like pal?

That's alright. Thought you meant pitted stanchions. Mine are a bit scabby the lowers as their not painted.
Haynes didn't do me any wrong (working with a couple of orgers in a workshop also helped). Also download the manuals from here http://www.carlsalter.com/suzuki-service-manuals.asp

Mine a 2000 Curvy which is currently going through its major items this winter

More than likely, use the search bar at the top. However i do no quite a hit when it comes to spray painting so ask away if you don't find anything

Dave does a lot of work for guys in your area - seen some of his painting and its excellent. Mostly to be found painting MX5s, but worth a call.
