Yeah the cutting in round the glass wasn't as accurate as it might have been.
The Quality Control dept will pick up on that when she sees it |

The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?
Another Christmas present tonight. Been sat there for too long so decided to give them a try given my recent exploits. 12 years: surprisingly unrefined compared to my expectations. Definitely tasted "woodier" than most I've tried. Apparently it's oak according to the back of the box. 15 years: I'm not sure how led I am by numbers but I try to keep an open mind. This was nicer, still the same base flavours but refined. I guess this might be what I expected the 12 to be like. Considering I quite like a lot of the 10 years aged ones perhaps I expected 12 to be a step beyond. 18 years: I rather liked this, the flavours of the previous 2 iterations had been mellowed into undertones and softened by fruitier flavours. From the box I'm guessing this is by the sherry and bourbon casks it is aged in. Interesting to have the three ages of a similar product. Especially a mass produced one. Doesn't make it to my list of "would drink agains" which is my yard stick at the moment. I should probably compile my list at some point otherwise I'll likely forget some good ones. The list of ones I've tried is rapidly growing. Helped along by the holiday collection

Nice nobby, still haven't tried my glenmorangie miniature I've got (not the posh one though)
Tonight I'm distantly toasting my boss's birthday. Quadruple Cointreau and coke (Pepsi max anyway, still watching the calories) Second of the night with no dinner, getting the full effect making me a cheap date
