I deliberately went and rode in the valley, only 300 odd meters of climbing road closures limited me to 16 miles (thank god!) but it was OK. 15 mph average, I'll take that.

We're quite lucky around here to have a few good hills ....nothing like Mike has on his doorstep but linked together like our Weds evening rides we can squeeze 2500-3000ft into a 35 mile spin.

Good work Mike, getting the motivation together for the first ride in a while is always tough.

Yep, well done mate, its always hard to start, especially this time of the year.

Hopefully it won't be too long before we can ditch the winter wear & start getting a tan
