Being a BMW it needs the ability to overtake in dangerous places and park in disabled bays. Will it always use the BMW lane on motorways? Didn't Honda do the self driving bit on a motorbike years ago, they changed the steering geometry on the fly to keep the bike stable. I once saw a video on YouTube of a bike on ice that lost its rider and the bike was trundling around quite nicely at about 10 mph, people tried to catch it and in the end one of the other riders steered it towards a pick up truck and stopped it, will try to find video and post it.. found it..... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B4IrN3zMFGo

They know exactly what they're doing. Or at least the leftfield advertising agency they've hired does. Totally designed to go viral.. and it is.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Certainly is. I've seen references to this all over the t'interwebs for several days now. It's not the usual M&S style but it certainly has got them noticed.

Yesterday reported a pothole thaat had appeared outsie my house to the council. Automated response that they have two days to assess and 2- days to fix if deemed required. This afternoon. cut out, straightened and filled. Impressed. Nearly smiled

Road outside my daughter's old school had had a persistent pothole that has been fixed quickly, but not properly, so it kept reappearing. The whole stretch is getting done next week, I just hope it's not going to be a top coat of chippings

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
First proper length ride today since sorting suspension. 100 miles of a real mixture of roads tested it nicely. Tweaked front preload very slightly and feeling like I've got it all where I want it to be now. Slightly damp greasy roads in places but a good few hours out.
