Re: 2019 - ride out with an overnight?
Oooh, you lucky swine. Wish I didn't have a wedding to go to. I love that run from Broughton down to the Horseshoe and Bala.

Re: 2019 - ride out with an overnight?
Might be useful if people post here when they are setting off, just so we know you are on your way.
John, Adam, we still OK for 2.30pm at the Texaco/Londis in Llanfair Caereinion? Just been pulling bike luggage out. I should be OK with a tankbag and tailpack I reckon. Gave my leathers a clean and reproofing today ready for the weekend. Looking forward to this, it should be good fun. |

Re: 2019 - ride out with an overnight?
I'm aiming for that and will text you an update when I leave.
Got a few things to do on the bike today with it being new to me. Need to check fittings of Kriega bag and get tank ring on and sat nav wired in etc. You forget how much you had sorted on your old bike until you get a new one and have to do it all at once! Was thinking of riding in leathers as weather looks ok, but my trousers are still fairly new and not quite broken in. Not sure I can deal with a weekend of breaking them in. So probably going to go with my textiles. Trousers are slightly warm though and temperatures are looking like they're rising this weekend!

You wiring direct to battery or to one of the aux sockets behind dash?
