Nice one Bill. Here's hoping you have many more trips out with the little lad.

My smile for the day is working from home, so I've got lots done with Absolute Classic Rock playing in the background.

Two from me today.

The feeling of encouragement my almost 18 year old got yesterday from looking round Sussex Uni - she has something to work towards now. It is, according to the Monkey, much nicer than Worcester which is the only real comparison she has.

The other was ME going back to Sussex Uni. In 1987 I was in my first year at Brighton Poly and the main halls of residence are just across the road from Sussex U and we'd head over to their Union bars every Friday night as they were a lot cheaper than ours. The one I remember best is still there. It was good to see The East Slope Bar again, especilly as this very old part of the campus is due for redevelopment soon.

Tea tonight.

Vietnamese Bun Cha bowls.

Fresh, spicy, fishy, delicious goodness. Only took ten minutes to put together as well!

My son.

Jack.

He's just found out that he's been offered a place at Bolton School.

Cue cheesy grins all 'round!
