Just a quick early run this morning with my friend Craig from up the lane. No time for anything longer. Nice enough run though.

Brilliant run at the Hanwood 10k (Shropshire) this morning. Lovely course, very muddy in parts, mix of lots of trail, some field running and a few short linking sections of back lane. Great little river crossing/splash near the end too.
Failed to set my Garmin going until I'd already done a mile - doh!

Ran most of the way round with a fellow canicrosser, Rowenna, who had a good run and came in as 2nd woman finisher!

Glad you are getting out Gary. Having had my little op on Friday I have had to hang the boots up for a couple of weeks. Still I noticed this.

so I'll keep these for my next mud run - got one booked in Feb!

I do however have these waiting for me in two weeks.

Went to the outlet store in Freeport yesterday. Black Friday sale. was £108.00 now £54.00.
They are very comfy. Only 12 days till I can try them!

Glad the op is done with Martin. Bet you can't wait to get back out there now!

At the moment I'm a bit sore. So the thought of running isn't too appealing. But I imagine I'll be desperate to get out in two weeks.

Link to a video of the river crossing near the end of the Hanwood 10k. My friend Rowenna with her dog Harry, followed by Mabel and me.

First run for a week and a half. Grey, drizzly, ridiculously warm, and very muddy. Great to be back out on the trails though!

I'm in need of getting out.
I'm not in a great place mentally today. I've almost had enough of practically everything. Thankfully tomorrow is two weeks. Fingers crossed the rain isn't coming in sideway when I get home.

Yay 5.9 miles of farmland, woods and fading light. Perfect way to start the weekend. Sanity slightly restored.
Now where is that cider I bought the other day?
New shoes performed well, a little bit achy by the time I got home. But that might just be the lack of exercise. As far as grip they are great. Nice and muddy now.
