All I can think about is more track time. Practise what I learnt. Push a little further. Above all, get a bit more consistent. Brake later, get on the gas earlier. I took the same corners on every lap differently,
its probably just that you were gaining experience and improving on the day alongside others who werent doing so well. IL4s are just more popular and so you see more of them.

You did great by the way.

Just to add, braking early isnt a problem, braking consistently at the same location is what to focus on. To do that you need definate reference points. Once you have that sorted you simply adjust them. Without reference points you can only guess.

This is the video I was telling you about. Helped me with my body positioning a lot.

I've got some video coming. It's my first try but not bad. It won't be up until after the weekend.

Watch out for the idiot in the dress

Yep, knew the theory, but couldnt apply it til someone stood there and told me "Nope, you're still not hanging off enough!"

And thanks Flymo. I found Silverstone very unmarkerish - I did try, but I couldnt find anything to use as a marker that I could see every time. Plus I was too busy thinking about all the other stuff I was doing. Well and truly used my $10 worth of attention just riding!

Am looking forward to seeing all the pics and videos!
I think yesterday was good send off to my old tyres, decided was probably better to get rid of the transit tyre sooner rather than later, so gave the bike a clean n got some new rubber

he has a fast bike but not that fast a rider. He's braking very early for some of the corners.
