Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Got some good news yesterday. My insurance company finally got their rear ends in order and did something about my accident on Lisa's bike back in July. For reasons unknown to me, the third party were trying to make a claim against Lisa's insurance company instead of mine. Only found out when insurance investigators got involved. Once I found out this, I contacted my insurance company to find out why they had not processed my claim. It seems even though I had filled out the required insurance accident form, because the third party had not contacted them, they decided to do nothing at all. I called them after I found out about the investigator and all they could advise me was to contact the third party directly and inform him to inform his insurance company they were claiming against the wrong insurance company. How pathetic is that? Anyway, after giving a statement to the investigator, 2 months later I got a call from Lisa's insurance company to say they had spoken to my insurance who confirmed I was legally able to ride her bike and they would honour the claim and pay up to the third party. They have still not contacted me directly though. Still, it's all being sorted now but with no help form my own insurance. Debating if I will use them again when it comes to getting the bikes insured again.

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
I was riding Lisa's bike on my insurance. Which means I was only covered third party only.

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
It's good news because this has been dragging on for ages. Because my insurance company had done nothing Lisa was getting all sorts of letters from her insurance company stating she would be held resonsible for the claim. She was informed by her insurance company she would be held personally liable and could end up with thousands to pay. It appears there where two people in the van I hit and are both claiming whiplash injuries. So in that respect, I am happy it has all finally be resolved. All with no help from my own insurance company though.
