Re: Vintage film cameras
Dunnno if Craigg is still lurking, re. expired film, as if to prove a point, after less than a week I've sold a roll of Kodak for £4 plus £2.85 postage, expired 1999. It's an okay film, the Tri-X and Ilford you have will be snapped up much more readily.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Was that the chap with the big bundle of stuff? Film prices will go up as the Poundland option has gone now.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Yep. Not sure if they will, it didn't seem like that many people knew about it

Re: Vintage film cameras
I still cannot get the lamp in the projector to work. Rather than bin it, I have found I can shine a high powered LED light through it instead. Just need to rig something up now. Will also print a take up spool as I didn't get any with it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Have you got power to it? Does the bulb work on its own? Got my refund for the Mamiya so I can start working on it now.

Re: Vintage film cameras
No power to the bulb. I think the coil has burnt out that drops the voltage. Good news on the refund.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Lens has arrived. Time to buy a film and test the camera out.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Looking good. I was rummaging through my camera crates and I am finding stuff I had forgotten l had bought. Seem to have a few FD lenses for some reason.
Seeing as the 28mm lens is pretty much useless on the DF, I have decided to fit the Tamron 28mm I got from a charity shop. Thanks to Yoko for the Minolta mount, knew it would come in handy.
