Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Will insurance cover the cost Bill? Not good, but they are big beasts, could have damaged you.
Enjoy the drink

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Also Ebay trolls. I don't sell as much as I used to, but when I do, I always get a non paying bidder, with a zero feedback score winning my item. Happened a while back on a camper van I was selling. Happened again with an item that finished yesterday.
Must be someone who knows me (I've suspicions as a likely candidate), or someone who I've dealt with on Ebay & they're following me as a seller. Otherwise how would they know when I post an item up for sale? Tunc's

Putting lunch in backpack, getting to work and realising I'm not wearing the sodding backpack!
Looks like I left it in the garage. |

Old biddies that pull out in front of you and then drive very slowly off with both wing mirrors folded in.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
The person on the train this morning who had on such an overpowering perfume that everyone on the train was coughing and sneezing and we had to open the windows.
And the charity coordinator at work who asked for help at an event tonight some weeks ago, then she forgot I'd added my name, then she put me on the list when she remembered then called this morning to say they didn't need me after all. I wouldn't normally mind but I'd declined a very nice dinner invitation as guest from another charity I help to do it and I had reluctantly turned that down as I felt I should honour my commitments.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
The two (two!) people who changed lanes from lane 2 to 3 on motorway today who didn't bother checking lane 3 was clear and ignored me blasting the horn and waving at them through their drivers windows. They then pretended not to see me s they continued checking Facebook or whatever. At 70 mph.
Call me irrational but I have a feeling of self preservation at that sort of speed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No on the insurance. It's an older vehicle so not worth the high cost of full coverage insurance as retail value is all they will pay in an accident. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it looked. The damage was all cosmetic and I sold the truck wrecked the next day to some bloke for the same thing they were going to allow me on it so still picked up the SUV on Sunday!!!! That had to be the first time my luck was changing so fast I was both unlucky and lucky at the same time. LOL As they say, 'All's well that ends well.' But sometimes you have to look back and say, wtf that was crazy!
