Will you do it yourself or send it off?

Re: Vintage film cameras
Nah send it off, I need to finish the one in my Super A, I have a few shots left but want to do some more experiments with fill flash, then they'll both go off together.

Re: Vintage film cameras
No progress on the ME. I've been out shooting with the A1 and noticed that the focusing screen was very dirty. A single screw released that and a wash in soapy water helped. The odd thing is that the edges were cleaner than the centre. I think some of the oil i used to solve the cough got to it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
How are you finding the A1? The one Yoko had isn't playing ball so I cannot shoot with it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
None of my ebay bids worked out but I'd set limits I wasn't going beyond. There will always be another one along soon.
Booked flight to Chengdu today. Did the A1 finally give up on you Kenzie? Is it electrics or mechanics? |

I noticed today that the LEDs in the viewfinder change brightness according to the light coming into the camera. A nice touch.
