Re: Welcome to the Madlanders!
Sometimes, I'm glad I'm lurking just over the border in the PM - 1 and 2 aren't a problem for me, but I'm not letting that loon near my baby

Re: Welcome to the Madlanders!
OK, MFN night didn't float my boat when I looked at the website if I'm brutally honest.
Too much association with chavs in modified cars. I imagined it attracting the sort of nutcase anti-social litre sportsbike riders, who have no tax, insurance or MOT and are there to pull wheelies, stoppies, do burnouts (as per the burnout pictures on the website!) and terrorise traffic, the kind of guys who only have bikes because they are fast and they think it makes them look cool. Obviously I've never been to MFN, so I guess I'm pre-judging far too much. If we're kicking off the new improved Madlanders that night then I'll be there! (though if there's any of the above then I won't go twice!) |

Re: Welcome to the Madlanders!
I've never been to MFN but pretty much agree with what Ralph has posted, I'll see what it's like and then make up my mind as to whether I pay a second visit. I know a guy who's always gone on about burnouts and wheelies when talking about the place, so I'm not expecting it to be my cup of tea. (God, I sound like a right boring old fart!)
