I guess it will have to be £500 cheaper than the MT with ABS.

So, the weight comes off the instrument cluster, the ABS unit and the exhaust.
New frame and a 13.8 litre tank (ignore the 14.5 litre tank claim unless your in the US)

I don't see the point of making it narrower, I'm still the same width.

Low Rev adjustment? Doesn't that address the TPS setup problems that we all remove asap?

Not sure it's a new SV, or a new SFV without the F but what does that matter? I get what's being said about comparison with the MT07; the SV lacks the torque and needs more revving!!!

Sadly I find the styling for most Suzukis bland and dated. It's a shame. I do hope they bring out a faired SV in their next batch of bikes...

Suzuki's styling is lacking recently. The new gsxr1000 doesn't look significantly different to it predecessor. The gsx-s1000f looks like one of the Angry Birds.

Hmmm, things that I don't like are the following
Exhaust
Swing arm
Mirrors
Front mudguard
Plastic covers
Rear mudguard
Saddle

Things I do like are
Wheels
Frame

I think that this looks like a design that could have worked a couple of years ago, but is already dated. As others have said, this looks like a "Gladys" (sic) and I was never taken with the styling of them. However, in the right hands there is potential to make this little beast look nice, but it will need some work.

The pillion on my K3 is already very much of the paving slab variety, the pillion on this one looks worse, but I guess we need to try it to confirm our fears on that one.

Let's see how well it does on the market, that may well be a guide to dear Suzuki.

What really puzzles me is that Suzuki got it spot on with the original SV's and then went off at a tangent with the Gladys. I wonder if Suzuki thought they were trying to copy the Monster or Aprilia Shiva with the Gladys, if you look at the Gladys with a squint you can see a resemblance.

I like the round headlight but not the back end. If it fits the traditional low cost first-big-bike market the SV/SFV has been so good at filling then it will sell. Lots of newbies or born agains who prefer the simple styling this has will like it.

I quite like it but it's success depends on being good value more than anything I reckon. I can forgive my SV all sorts of failings as the price was right. I like the oil cooling/temp control fitting behind the filter rather than a separate rad.
The front mudguard is too small to guard against mud. Pyramid Plastics will be rubbing their hands together at the potential sales of fender extendas!

Seat height 785?? That's going to cramp a few knees.
