Lissa will love you for mentionning that!! As/when I get the chance, I'll update the map with fuel/food stops etc. At least we've got a while to sort those out still.

OK I have been given a 1 day pass so I will be doing the "Day 1" ride out without Mrs DoubleD (she gets a little restless after an hour on the back so 6 hours and she'll be a pain in the @rse )

I'll ride down Saturday morning and meet up with you all, I'll stay over Saturday night somewhere and ride home Sunday morning.

I like the idea of meeting for petrol on the way down at Ruthin.

Whats the best/quickest way to get from the M6 / M56 to the A494.... is it the A55 route or is it A5117 onto A550??

yes.

HTH

There's no real difference, but there are major roadworks A5117 / A550 from M56 to Queensferry (for next 2 years!), so M53 / A55 is probably a better bet on a Saturday.

I dunno, that seems to always be moving at least (40mph limit). Wouldn't be bad at all on the bike with the ability to filter, the road is wide enough for it.

Horses for courses though really, like Luckypants said, both routes are about the same.

That's 12 beds. 8 in the 1 room and 2 private twins. Cost for the flat is £110. So if 10 peeps stay it's £11.

Breakfast isn't included but it's cheap enough to eat at the cafe anyway.

If there are more than two couples wishing to come then the ladies could all share the private rooms and the guys the dorm.

There are spaces available on the Friday too.

So who wants a bunk? Let me know quickly as I've only held the flat for a week.
Right so far. Myself, Lissa, Baph, Plowsie (Stu), Stewie, and Stu. Confusing

6 places left.

£110/6 is £19 (leaving a small tip) per person for the night. Better value than most places in the area.

So there'll be me, pete, lissa, stu, stu & stu. Not confusing at all. I'd invite my mate, Stuart, but his bike is out of action at the moment.

EDIT: Fuel stops are now added to the maps.
