Re: North Wales Rideout #2
Lissa will love you for mentionning that!! As/when I get the chance, I'll update the map with fuel/food stops etc. At least we've got a while to sort those out still.

Re: North Wales Rideout #2
OK I have been given a 1 day pass so I will be doing the "Day 1" ride out without Mrs DoubleD (she gets a little restless after an hour on the back so 6 hours and she'll be a pain in the @rse )
I'll ride down Saturday morning and meet up with you all, I'll stay over Saturday night somewhere and ride home Sunday morning. I like the idea of meeting for petrol on the way down at Ruthin. Whats the best/quickest way to get from the M6 / M56 to the A494.... is it the A55 route or is it A5117 onto A550?? Last edited by DoubleD; 26-07-07 at 10:53 AM. |

HTH There's no real difference, but there are major roadworks A5117 / A550 from M56 to Queensferry (for next 2 years!), so M53 / A55 is probably a better bet on a Saturday. |

Horses for courses though really, like Luckypants said, both routes are about the same. |

Re: North Wales Rideout #2
£110/6 is £19 (leaving a small tip) per person for the night. Better value than most places in the area.
So there'll be me, pete, lissa, stu, stu & stu. Not confusing at all. I'd invite my mate, Stuart, but his bike is out of action at the moment. EDIT: Fuel stops are now added to the maps. Last edited by Baph; 26-07-07 at 11:50 AM. |
