Come to work on it today
Bit annoying though, I realise now with a lot of skipping ques of traffic that I still dont have to set up my TB's quite right, a little off/on throttle roughness ~2K RPM Will ballance throttle tonight to see if its that simple. ha ha. |

Re: Pennine Massive where are you all?
Just incase anyone gives a crap... I decided that when I got home I was goin to balance the cylinders, all done! They were a fair amount out! No wonder the throttle felt inaccurate and as though neither cylinder knew what to do at low RPM! Now its back to pulling from tickover in 3rd
On a side note for a V twin I honestly cant believe how smooth the bottom end is! Im sure I couldnt really go below about 3500 rpm on the sv650 without it getting a little lumpy, is my memory right? |

Re: Pennine Massive where are you all?
yeah it has been a long time since i have been out with the awful weather, went on holiday for 3 weeks and it snowed the day i left and the dam stuff was still here when i got back
planning on doing some rear sprocket changes to get a bit more acceleration in the next week or two and then try and get on the bike any days its not to wet and cold. really want to try and do a track day this year if i get a chance. give me a shout rob if you are heading out sometime and i will see if i can tag along, was talking to a few friends at football who all ride and they are starting to get their bikes ready to ride soon |

Re: Pennine Massive where are you all?
Going back to the parents tomorrow to swap the cage (which is dead) for the SV now the ice has passed.
Got new rear pads, Scorpion end can and quite possibly heated grips to fit then time for a ride! I also want to sort out some headlight relays, 12v socket for sat nav / phone and maybe upgrade the reg/rec wiring feed as per some stuff I have been reading. Already fitted Night breakers and still want more light! |
