Man that sucks Paul, sorry to here the trouble you're having with the bike.

Hope you get a new engine in it soon. On the other hand a GSX-R 800 sounds awesome

Absolutely othing mate, seized solid, which would explain why we couldn't bump it even in 6th. Found a y-k2 engine for £390 on eBay but gonna hang fire til YC has explored a bit further. Engine swap will be more straightforward than messing on with internals but gsxr800 could be a nifty project in the future with a full spare engine on the side lines waiting for a beasting..

it will get sorted paul personally seeing the workings of the DRZ an such i would be tempted to use the current engine and make it an 800 it would be very handy, you would know the bike in and out (there for bullet proof) and ! its always good to learn new stuff/be confident in tinkering for any future "issues/bling" Chin up

ps answer my text beatch

B o l o x! Good luck getting it sorted.

Remember I'm in Leeds on a regular basis, and I have an estate car, so if you need to source parts or an engine down this way I can collect and deliver.
