Too many bloody questions I guess leave at 5 from work. Maybe meet you on the A34 or on the motorway somewhere - probably easiest to see you at the south Oxford services in the petrol station. I vote to get somewhere near the site and then pull over to grab some grub and booze, maybe even some fish and chips or similar (but not in the village as it will be too busy). I'll buy the basics like biscuits etc tonight. I'm leaving the top box free for supplies.

shall we get a bbq on the way and some meat?

I think for route we should take the A41 through Aylesbury and Tring, hit the M25, the round to the A12 to Chelmsford and then I have made a map for the local area. I think sandwiches will be fine for Friday night as I have ordered the bacon and egg rolls etc and hog roast for saturday and sunday. If we leave from work at 5, then how about we meet at 5:15 or so at the petrol station just next to bicester where the A41 goes south from the roundabout, you know, the one we usually stop at after doing the B4011? that is near both of us then we can take the A41 down. We can stop at any supermarket on the way. This is going to be fun!!

I marked a route for people from J18 of the A12.
