Hey up guys - I actually booked in earlier this week after a particually sh*t day at work and just seen the thread tonight so I guess I won't be on my jacks ! - The Rock is great for SV's - I'm in the novices too since my bike is still a wee bit bent from silverstone so I think I need to take it slow for the first track day of the year !

Hey, haven't heard from you in a while! Did you do Rockingham last year?

Been in hibernation over winter fixing me bike . Yeah went to Rockingham last year - its a good track with few straights and a huge left hander which is great fun/scary depending on your speed .

should be good, I'm looking forward to it. will be nice to get some wear on the left side of my tyres for a change

Was going to try and stick to weekend and evening track days - just started a new job on a relatively short contract, so no holiday pay means that it's the cost of the trackday+a days wages. This will probably get pretty restrictive looking at the available days, but my next track day was either going to be:

not sure I fancy Brands again just yet

I was semi-planning on doing Lydden that day anyway - I have a few friends who want an easy, non-intimidating, first trackday & I was suggesting that we do that

funnily enough, I was looking at that day at Mallory too. it's fairly soon after superbike school, & it's a track that I have a benchmark lap time around so that I can see how (if?) I've improved. I like Mallory anyway, so it's not like I need mcuh of an excuse
