October Photo Competition

Ooh, I like sunset photos - here is one of my favourites.

Took it in SW France this year, on the Atlantic coast. Point & shoot Canon Ixus camera, no fancy lenses/filters/software - would love to get a Digital SLR and all the gear at some stage.

This is a pic of the Exe estuary; it was taken from my window when I was based at Lympstone. It was taken with a point & shoot jobby then scanned onto my comp.

Some incredible shots, really like the effort made with some of these.

For those that havent posted yet, get out and get some pictures! We're having some really good ones up here at the moment, its just about catching the right place & right time.

A bit cliche but who cares?

SO are we doing Dawn, Dusk, or SUNSET / sunrise?
Or are any early morning, early evening pictures allowed?

Yeah i wouldnt mind being a profesional but young enough that if it doesnt work i can find something else, already got a diploma in Audio engineering but there were no recording studio jobs free.

Sunsets lend themselves so well to photography don't they. Amazing colours and shades.
