Funny you should say that because I've sorted a bit which you star in. Although it's not directly of the riding, more of the confusion Luckypants created when pulling over at a fuel station.

Perhaps you should pay attention to:-

a) the posted route
b) what had been said in the thread about first fuel stop
c) the briefing.

Which had no mention of fuel stops

"although for numpties we are passing through Ruthin so a fill up stop can be made (but the group wont wait)."

For people like me who didn't have a clue where place A was from place B this could have easily been the fuel stop where the group wasn't going to wait.

IIRC the fuel stop was at about 100 miles. When we pulled into that station I had not got a clue how many miles we had covered. What I did know was fuel was starting to get a bit low in my tank. When I saw you in the petrol station I thought great, this is the fuel stop.

True, but you would have had some idea where you were and that we were heading to drop off the luggage (which had been stated was in about 30 miles from Ponderosa)

We had passed a big sign saying we were in Ruthin 13 miles back and the fact that we had travelled through 13 miles of countryside and one other village should have told you it was not Ruthin. The big sign at the entrance to the village with the petrol station that says 'CERRIGYDRUDION' is also a dead give away that we we were not in Ruthin

Jesus dude, hell of a difference between 25 (which we had done) and 100!! If you had followed the thread you would have seen that first petrol stop was Newtown. (again can be noted from big sign at entrance to built up area)

If you were low on fuel then you obviously had also not read the bit about arriving with your tank as full as possible.

Haha that video is hilarious! Reminds me of the Thames Valley section, although our title of "most people regularly lost on rideouts" might be under threat!
