As with my first post in this thread, I wish you the best for the weekend though I will not be attending.

With that I am unsubscribed and passing no further comment.

Messie I await a PM complaining about my dissent as other members have received.
No PM Yorkie Chris - complaining is exactly what this thread is for. Enjoy whatever you decide to do with the money

£10 a night is a bit pricey as far as camping goes most campsites i've stayed in and am staying in this summer are about £3.50 per night. If the extra cost is for organised butlins type stuff can we opt out? i'm not one to want entertainment, quizzes and all that stuff that has been mentioned on atleast the last 2 AR and thankfully not done. I just want to camp and ride and chat, no more.

This isn't so much a moan as a question about cost, but looking at other threads offence will probably be taken so sorry in advance.

And so that those who've spent time and effort trying to make something you can go to actually happen can do so without being annoyed by whining.

Anyone who isn't going but still feels the need to have an opinion, this is the place for that as well.

Ooops nearly forgot the purpose of this thread lol

I think the main problem with cost is trying to justify going from £10 per night for two people last year, being £20 in total to now costing £40, it may just be me but that seems mighty steep for a bit of water. Just my four penneth. Hope you all have fun, decided not to go this year.

Hope so, some of them are a right mess at the moment

PS We are hiring a venue. It's not the same as a campsite. You will not have to pay anything extra for electricity, showers, parking, motorhomes or special hugs from Bear. Additional costs for any person attending will be for their own food, drink and petrol (and all the other costs of running their own bike/car/motorhome) although I suspect if anyone breaks down or needs help on their bike in any other way there will be many people gladly offering time, expertise, tools and maybe even bits.
I'm not going to justify the cost of staying at the ridout venue any more. The ridout is free so if anyone wishes to just join in with that they may, and make their own alternative arrangements for accomodation. Or don't come.
