More Meets...

Right, just got back from our test run...

On the whole not too bad, blasting up and down the a12, apart from the fact that when we'd been out for a while (and he'd got hot I guess), whenever we had to slow down to stop/slow maneuvers he'd just stall. No coughing or spluttering... He'd just die. Did it about 4 or 5 times on the trip home. Restarted with no problems each time though...

Haven't refuelled yet and carbs still need tuning.

Tickover?...mind you what do I know though hehee - all sounding good though - glad you got out there in the end!!

The tick-over and the clutch on the bike might still need tunning in, as we have had the whole carb off. I did adjust the throttle as best I could and there might just need some fine tuning on the bars. As you saw ping I did adjust the idle, but when I did it it was hot, so it should be fine (12-1500rpm). But as I said, that fuel has been in the bike for a year, so if I was you I'd get the tank filled up and give it another go. If you can, drain the tank of fuel and try it with some fresh stuff.
