I did a test for my GSXR with H&R. A tad expensive at £98 considering I have 9 years NCB, garaged, low risk and 56 years old. But WTF £350 excess. That is taking the P.

I know, what's the point of comprehensive insurance if a claim costs so much?

I don't agree with high excess like 500 or 600 but if your bike is worth I don't know say like 3grand plus and the cost of repairs are like 1500+ I think that's a lot cheaper to pay than the actual cost of repair, I mean that's just my opinion,

Default Insurance time

I've had a thought.
Lots of people have a shock when they find their premium has shot up. Maybe I could offer to insure them against that.

You take out your bike insurance and then also take out insurance hike insurance at the same time. This then insures you against your insurance premium going up massively next year.

Unfortunately it's not profitable to insure against something that's guaranteed to happen.
