Mines due beginning of March, 1yr NCB, 39 years old, garaged and they want £450, i aint paying that.

They only want £38 for my lambretta.

Had my van insurance just before xmas, tax for it in Jan.
Cars due april i think, tax in june.
I hate this time of year, all money going out, not so much coming back.

26, 3 years ncd and they are wanting around 275 to 350 for me fully comp. Tempted to go tpft as it's 140, then fix it myself again. Bit risky though never done tpft beforep

The only problem with TPFT is total loss, especially if your ride is worth a bit.
When i had my off last year, i reckon the claim would have been around £1200-£1500 had i gone through insurance using brand new suki parts.
TBH there wasnt that greater difference between fully comp and TPFT, if it was a big difference like yours i might of considered it.
Im gonna do some comparing this weekend and try and get it for approx £350 ish

Try Express Insurance. They have always been cheapest for me with a policy from Equity Red Star. When I got my SV I had lost my bike NCB through not having a bike policy for too long, so I was back to zero, at 30 years of age, and I was paying about £300, I now pay about £130 with 3 years NCB. For a guy that is 6-7 years older than me you are paying far too much.

Try Footman James. They have an on line quotation facility.

http://www.footmanjames.co.uk/

I was around £130 with full no claims, so it shouldn't be much more than 200 quid for you, I'd have thought. Also includes breakdown and accident recovery.
