Re: the safely back home thread
Made it back to London in a bit over three hours - and didn't really get wet, which was good
We had a really fantastic time - thank to everyone who obviously spent so much time planning and putting this on; and hi to everyone who talked to us, it was a great weekend. Nantwo (Terri) was so chuffed to see a photo of her with her pink leather jacket she has printed it out already to stick up in work. Thanks again for a great weekend. |

Re: the safely back home thread
made it home a while ago, just been having a shower and relaxing a bit after also seeing torrential rain and the worst conditions i have ever ridden in i think.
massive thanks to all those who organised the event and made it a superb weekend. brilliant rideout route, great location and great company. great to meet those i did and sorry to those i didn't say hello to (i'm just not very good at meeting new people!!). really enjoyed myself, shame about the weather and here's to all meeting up again for another quality AR next year or sooner!!

Back home safe. Was sunny & dry for Josh & Me after Yeovil all the way home.
Thanks for a great rideout & everything laid on at the campsite. The weather all in all was pretty fantastic too! |

I'm home. Unfortunately Jo & the little apes are not. The mini bus broke down. Throttle cable snapped. She's expected home within the hour now though.

Re: the safely back home thread
Me, Im Indoors YC and Miss YC settling in to a nice cuppa, got home at 4.30...Mel waved bye on our junction. Nasty standing water and torrential rain in places on the way home, but hey its AR weather!!!
HAd a super weekend, thanks Fizz, and all who organised it. The BBQ was superb, got some nice piccies for later. Nice to meet up with old friends and new, and we all had such a good time, dunno about the rideout, but our chilled out day at the site with Rictus and 21Quest, Mrs Ape etc was really nice and relaxing....bunch of plane spotters too.

Back home safe and sound, not too damp either.
Great weekend, a bit of rain can't spoil it. |

Sid Squid and me back in London... got drenched after leaving the camp site on the A303. My bike didn't like that... it got over it though

Home. Everything except my boots are outside drying out. The boots were the only bit of clothing that kept the rain out.
Great ride Saturday, heartfelt thanks to ALL those who put so much into the organisation of the 2008AR. Have a drink on me |

Re: the safely back home thread
I'm home and clean now. How I love running hot water. A truly fantastic week end - thanks to all the organisers and indeed everyone who turned up, either in person or spirit, to make it one of the best Annual Rideouts I've been to. Messie AKA Sally PS I'm actually really shy, but I managed to overcome it a bit for the week end
