no hun the traffic was stationairy as it was at the lights, i was filtering up when the lights changed and the postoffice lorry moved off to. I wasn't moving very fast as i was filtering.

you were filtering up between heavy goods vehicles, and as their attention was concentrated on moving away from the lights, aaaaand you were in a vulnerable position, you should not have done it.

seeming to want to change lanes? You're making assumptions for hgv's... Instead of holding back and waiting for them to maneouver.

thinking he was going to carve me up, what should i do just barg through

he was not carving you up. You were filtering, therefore not in a designated traffic flow lane you numpty.

coz you were in it's blind spot, beneath the mirrors.

well i had to slow to as i was worried about the post office van. Due to the width the lorries take when they turn i think the trailer knocked me. I was just about to move over, as i had forgotten about the lorry behind me as my mind was on the post office in front.

so you admit you know what happens when lorries turn!!!? And you still did it. Hmmm. Idiot!.

Oh and the right mushroom is bent and scrapped, hand guard cracked, mirror broken, subframe for mirror mount bent. Screen and right side fairing cracked and bent, scrape on the can.
woo. More expense. Just coz you still ride like you did before we had pj. Which was fine back then, as we didn't have a 3yr old i'd have to explain to if his daddy gets mangled and ripped apart by an hgv. You filter at speed, and your observation is lacking. You seem to think that every other road user should be on the lookout for you. Don't deny it, i've seen it first-hand. I was gonna wait and talk to you about this when you got home, but as you seem to have posted it all over the effing internet for everybody to see, i guess i'll have my say here.

hun how many times have i said to you that looked dangerous to me, and you just said it was fine from where you where.

but i've never thrown my bike down the road. In fact, and i touch your wooden head as i type this, i've never been involved in an accident. So, i have been fine. And i haven't cost us money or scared the living hell outta you!!.

you need to have a bit of patience dan. We have a 3yr old who adores his daddy and who would be totally devastated if anything was to happen to him.

and that's because again you made assumptions of what the traffic appeared to be doing, instead of holding back and waiting. I love you, but you effing infuriate me.
i so ride slower and more careful now, in fact when i've been out with you hun your normally the one that disappears off.

when the traffic is non-existant, and the road ahead is safe.

but that's enough of that now, as i just posted here to let people know and yap about it. Hopefully in fact learn from it.

take your own flipping advice.

And for flips sake everybody, please don't ride like dan. Especially if you have kiddies.

Oh I can't be arsed with this.. cus I'll just be wrong no mater what I say.

I would just like to say I thought the Post office was going to 'change' lanes across me.

Anyone want to buy a SV?

Sigh. So you'll be wanting replacement antlers then? I'll not get them to you before Christmas now, but I'll make sure you have some for next year

I'm sure I could muddle something up... I'll give my old man the pattern now and he should be able to sort it.
