hi guys ,dont think i'm gonna do this after all,i ve been looking at the route and i think its going to be too far for me.i dont get out that much as it is and its a 3 hr round trip just to get to mc d's without the ride aswell, so just to let everyone know ,really sorry i was looking forward to it, but just too much sorry again

It's not so bad if you leave the route at Settle and head back from there. Probably what I'll be doing if I make it.

on googley maps which way round are we doing the route? Clockwise or anti clockwise? I'll be coming from york up the a59 then the b6265, get my tyres nice n warm

and i'll be riding the pointy one

someone pushed it into the shot at the last minute without me realising. Could have been one of my best photographs ever if it wasn't for that

oh and i forgot to add, the missus' uncle ste is coming along on his r-reg blackbird, his friend (simon) & missus (rita) on a bandit 1250 have yet to confirm (both chilled out riders). Si & rita brought a massive picnic to croft including: a variety of sandwiches to fill 4 people, crisps, coffee in a flask, vanilla slices, custard tarts, quiche, some samosa's and some bajhis. They were well generous & hope they can come cos I promised them all some stuff in return.

oh and a lad i work with paul *might* be coming on his t-reg ninja but it's a bit 50/50 yet... He was talking about selling it the other day. Now he's keeping it.
