I've decided when I get my compo payout and my insurance is up in october I'm going for a 650s unsure as to pointy or curvy yet.

Actually the gáy screen didn't do much at all I took it off as soon as I got home (and lubed my chain) then went out for another few hours.

To be honest I secretly want a pointy S but not sure if I dare mechanics and cost of dropping wise.

About the same tbh. Fuel injection doesn't go wrong as much, but when it does you're f##ked!

Put some crash bungs on and dropping them is about the same...

crap lol I've been reading some worrying stuff apointys today they all seem to be going wrong! Are any particular years better than others? K5s? I might get a curvy I'm not sure dizzy's looked cool.

Any idea if my exhaust system would fit the pointy? Surely it should, the cylinders are in the same position.

It might if you're very lucky, but remember pointy has an oil cooler, different shock layout etc.

I might be tempted to have that pipework off you if you change bikes

Aye I'd be tempted to leave it on because it's a massive selling point (only reason I bought the bike...other than the price). But if it doesn't fit my next bike I'll give you a shout first. I'm sure you won't mind the scruffy downpipe

I wouldn't have anything but a highlevel on an sv I think they look awesome.
