coming back home ... I have never been so scared on a bike... couldn't see frig all going up over the A66... whiteout and Blizzard... then once off the A66 towards Barnard Castle... no gritter or plough. So had to go in the tyre track of the last vehicle... crapping myself it I decided to stop and have a break. nice warm bath just before and now only just warming up.

Jeez David, glad that it was just mud and no damage to you. Perhaps you should change modes of transport?
