Thats a bit plop then Andy, although us that are more tourers than hooners tend to have a permanent tankbag on the bike(feel free to add feckorf statement)
Although on the other hand, two of my bikes aren't geared for panniers, so go figure(well one will but its a PITA)!

As for Chris, they sound like they'd boot him out of the door and lock it behind him
Peg was saying the other night, the best place for him to have ever done ROSPA was in Essex, they're really geared up for it down there for bikes. Seems like a bit of a naff thing if West Yorkshire Pudding brigade can't provide sufficient training for anything other than car.

Agree, meeting was a little pants per my previous post.

However, the instructor I have had rides with was fine and the instruction was good. Hope you get hooked up with some rides soon Andy!

Not sure if I will attend the next 'meet' depends if something interesting looks like it will be on. TBH, aside from a few people who looked like they may live in this century, it was like a bit like a WI meeting.

We could flood the place with new bike members and turn it from a 'not really bike group' to a 'mainly bike group'. Or maybe not.

Oh well, I got a coffee and a cake out of it.

BTW, did you get a copy of police bike manua Andy ? If not I have a spare I would be happy to post (I got one on joining, and I already had one).

Glad I am joining York IAM. I got a copy of the police riders handbook on my Bikesafe. I also got a £50 voucher off joining ROSPA and IAM.
