Yeah but I need to look good in front of my colleagues..don't know anyone else who wants to try it....

I took up golf for a few weeks - ended up with a permanently f***** shoulder and elbow - mind you I did already have problems with my arm and should have really allowed for it - but the damage is done now I really really really really really regret it

Then go along to a Golf Course, one where none of your work colleagues go and ask advice on what to do. I think a course would be great and give you a real feel for it especially as you are just starting out

I started playing 2 months ago when my golf playing friends asked me to if I wanted to go to Marbella for a long golf weekend - fantastic 3 days it was too.

I bought a cheapish set of clubs and had a few lessons - there is normally a pro around every club house or golf range, just look up your nearest one and call them.

The rules are fairly simple but get a little more complicated the more seriously you take it, as does the game. But its probably better to have a few lessons before you actually hit a ball down the range on your own as you'll pick up all sorts of bad habits (some golf related too )

Not seen any wife-swapping going on as mentioned earlier, will keep my eyes peeled
