Had me SV from new, and don't think I'll ever get rid of it . If anything, I'll just buy a second bike, probably a SV1000S, as long as it less lumpy than a Firestorm

At least the prices will be even lower then than they are now
Havent you got a spare quid?
Yep... though also have a baby due in a few weeks and not likely to be riding for a month or two then. Couldn't bear to get a new bike and then just have her sit there.

Also couldn't bear paying that much for a brand new bike, even if over 3 years. Only ever bought nearly-new bikes. On the plus side, by the time I'm getting more sleep and I'm ready to ride again, the rest of the insurance cash should be coming through.

I'm still riding the SV, but it's not like I had it long.

I'd like a comfier seat, and perhaps a little more torque further up the rev range but that's about it. It's great for country rides - which is what I use it for.

H Guys, I'm in sheffield and have returned to biking after a break, my last bike was a GPZ600R which looked nice but I didn't like the handling, and it sort of put me off Motorbikes for nearly a decade.
Now I am mid 30s I have a Naked Blue v low milage and mint condition Y2000 SV650 and I am loving it, I have the peak district as a very close playground.

I was wondering though If it is possible to get a temporary fairing, to go around the single headlight for longer trips to europe, as it is a little tiresome at high speeds, on long straights. Has anyone done this and does it keep the wind off well. Any recommendations?
