As for your brakelines, SV and GSXR will both fit. The SV ones may be a little longer as the GSXR forks are shorter.

Also your face- the first time I did this, the calipers I was working on were pretty stuck- so when the first pot came out it went the entire length of the garden. The second pot, I decided to aim at the ground- it went about 4 inches into the ground So now, I always aim them at a bucket of water for a safe and gentle catch. I do tend to get a bit wet though...

Thanks for all the help guys but i tried pumping them out and got to 80psi and chickened out . So i decided on another method using one of these

They fitted perfect, put it in tighten up and pull as hard as bugery with grips and they all come out. Still cleaning them ready for re-spray, bloody brake dust is cemented to the damb things.

Is there any good guides to servicing your own brakes?

When I get my R6 Master cylinder and braided lines I think I'm gonna overhaul my calipers but I'm not sure where to start!

Well i finally got the calipers in pieces ready for a new spray job. Masked off all the important bits and wet and dry sandpapered all over. Started with the grey primer already, it's going to take most of the weekend to finish the job. Thin coats are better, i found that out the hard way a few times . I've got some laquer left over from another job it's meant for body work really, can anyone tell me if it'll do for my calipers? Do they heat up alot under braking?

Heres some piccys to keep you all interested.
