As mentioned KTM have been teasing us with this little beaut for a couple of years now. I do believe it will happen. Aesthetically a little radical and so not to everyone's taste, but KTM are not looking to conform.

Personally I think it is fantastic to see how their reputation is growing around the world,(except perhaps in a certain part of Yorkshire hey Cloggsy?)

If they price this right when it hits the showrooms,(maybe early 2009) it could find a biggish market. especially if they can pitch below the current prices of whatever Ducati and Aprilia are offering at the time.

It's going into production according to the KTM website and More Crap Than News. Should be released next year.

I think the styling's a wee bit awkward, there's a lot of different angles and it doesn't flow too well. But it looks designed for effect not just looks, then maybe it's designed to look like it's designed for effect not just looks 99% less ugly than the new Buell, but about 50% uglier than the Superduke.

I particularly like the tasteful way in which they have handled the stubby exhaust dilemma,very tidy indeed. Agreed that the front section of the fairing looks a little more straight edges and angular than most,but the overall package looks sweet as anything to my worthless eye.
